Will was born in Bristol and has worked throughout the South West for over a decade, acting, directing, stage managing and now lighting. He even wrote a play that won the Bristol Playwright Festival in 2018 and went on to the Edinburgh Fringe in 2019.
He has been on the committee and the chair of The Rondo Theatre Company in Bath between 2018 and 2022 and has worked as a scare actor for Weston Pier's Halloween Unfairground and Mary Shelley's House of Frankenstein.
He got the bug for stage management while doing his acting degree with the University of Plymouth, falling into the role naturally and has kept doing it since. His later interest in lighting came from watching designers such as Jean Kalman (working with director Deborah Warner during her time at the Ustinov Studio) create what Will considers magic from nothing.
He went on to study for a year at Bristol Institute of Performing Arts to concentrate on Lighting Operation and Design, leaving in 2025.
Will predominantly lives and works in the South West, living with his family and four cats. When not in the blue lights of backstage, he can often be found in his back garden, tending to his pumpkins and tomatoes in the greenhouse.
